THE FILM REVIEW

AYEZA the BWITCH
An avid book reader such as myself would probably want to see a movie just to see the special effects, and if what one has imagined in JKR's novel compared.

Daniel Radcliffe for one is a perfect example of being Harry Potter (or as in the case of Richard Harris as Dumbledore), while the rest of the characters seem fit enough to play their parts (except for Kenneth Brannagh who appeared as Gilderoy Lockhart - not even close to my expectation). Dobby the House Elf seemed far fetched from my perception but what truly shocked me was Hagrid's Fang played by an almost retired bloodhound.

I expected more of Severus Snape but seen him on rare parts, as well as looking forward to Professor Flitch, the wonderful scenes at the Great Hall and the blunder of Lucius Malfoy wearing a watch... Arthur QWeasley wasn't nearly balding and Molly Weasley wasn't short and plump afterall. I guess like book readers wanted to see were the Weasley twins, George and Fred who livened up the books but not the screen.

    MY PREDICTION

I hope Sean Connery becomes the next Albus Dumbledore since Harris has died. The perfect part for Sirius Black would either be Mel Gibson or Russel Crowe.

As for Gryffindors like me (hurrah!!!), it would be nice to have a magnificent common room such as that of Slytherin. At least I'd rather be wearing gold and maroon Gryffindor Quidditch robes  (colors of the UP maroons) than suck at wearing green Slytherin robes (colors of Dela Salle).
